Editor - Judy Fleagle Judy graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Elementary Education, and a minor in English. She spent 22 years teaching first and second grades in California and 21 years as a staff writer and editor at Oregon Coast and Northwest Travel magazines published in Florence, Oregon, where she resides. Since retiring, she has continued as a freelance writer and editor. She co-authored Crossings: McCullough's Coastal Bridges, in 2010, and has gone on to publish several other books, including Crossings Guide to Oregon's Coastal Spans, and an Arcadia Publishing town history of Florence, Oregon: About Florence. |

Editor - Burney Garelick She has written for the San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner, and for various newsletters and magazines. She presently does research, writing and layout for Arts & Entertainment, the weekly entertainment section of Siuslaw News and Newport News Times, in Florence and Newport, Oregon, specializing in music, art and theater reviews. Burney's first book, It's Not Over: Mornings at the MET – Fantastical Opera Reviews (Port Hole Publishing, 2014) is a review of remote showings of operas from around the world. |

Graphic Designer - Carolyn Nordahl Carolyn, who has lived in Florence since 1952, has enjoyed art and design since childhood. She studied art throughout her school years and took formal classes at Lane Community College, the University or Oregon, and Portland State College. She taught tole painting for many years and then moved on to oils. She is presently interested in watercolor and displays her work at the Siuslaw News lobby in Florence. |

Illustrator - Deborah Maze Deborah Maze has been an illustrator for more than 25 years. Her rich detailed paintings have graced the pages of numerous children’s books and a range of products including greeting cards, gift bags, and jewelry boxes. Deborah has illustrated over 40 books including “The World of Narnia” picture-book series, adapted from C. S. Lewis’ beloved classic “The Chronicles of Narnia” and “The World of Little House” from Laura Ingalls Wilder’s “Little House” books published by Harper Collins. She has also illustrated over 20 books for noted pediatrician Dr. Bill Sears, among them The Baby Book published by Little Brown. We are proud to claim her as the illustrator for Jerry Copeland's The Lion Who Loved to Laugh (Port Hole Publishing - 2014), and The Boy in the Mountains (Port Hole Publishing - 2017). A partial list of other clients include: McGraw-Hill, Barron’s Children’s Books, Children of Faith/Waterbrook Press, The L.E.A.N. Group, Creation House, Marion Heath Greeting Cards, Berkeley Designs and Rhapsody Limited. Deborah resides in Southern California with her husband John and dog “Kenny." |

Publicist - Ned Hickson Ned Hickson is an award winning, internationally syndicated humor columnist, and a blogger with 8000 followers. He is also the Editor-in-Chief for Siuslaw News, a small Oregon newspaper. As a columnist, he has been awarded "Best Local Column" from both the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association and the Society of Professional Journalists. Ned brings his keen wit and understanding of human nature to his position as publicist for Port Hole Publications. He enjoys helping his fellow authors get their bearings in the world of book promotion, something he has learned hands-on in promoting his own writing. |
